Prof. Dr. Zekeriyya Arı stated: He said, "We are a research university. The number of our projects and scientific outputs is increasing daily. As a higher education institution with half a century of accumulated knowledge, we must listen to industrial problems and provide solutions to the best of our ability. Within this framework, we are conducting serious studies in both engineering and basic sciences. University-Industry collaborations are gaining importance in this regard. We thank the company representatives for their contributions to our university and our country. We hope this protocol will be beneficial to both parties."
BOTH SIDES WILL WIN
Bekamak Machinery Industry and Trade Inc. General Manager Hasan Çetiner stated that collaborations with universities are important and contribute to both parties. Hasan Çetiner: "We have a challenging industry where manpower, labor, and technical knowledge are critical. Therefore, because we are competing with companies worldwide, we have felt compelled to constantly improve ourselves. In this latest endeavor, we have focused on developing even more patented products with our R&D center, products that are unique to Türkiye and even the world. We account for 55% of Türkiye's sawing machine exports. In fact, we have been among the top 5 in machining exports for four years. With this university collaboration, we aim to both increase our own productivity and contribute to our university through projects," he said.
The collaboration aims to collaborate on projects for national and international funding programs within the scope of competitiveness-enhancing activities in the field of technological innovation, such as R&D, innovation, design, system integration, foreign trade, and certification.
